Answer

ANo.1 In Japan, most payments are made with cash. Therefore, it is useful to be able to use a card to deposit and withdraw money from ATMs. Personal checks are almost never used. Credit cards can be used in many stores.

The currency of Japan is yen. There are six kinds of coins: 1yen, 5 yen, 10 yen, 50 yen, 100 yen, and 500 yen. And four kinds of bank notes: 1000 yen, 2000yen, 5000yen, and 10000yen. There is a hole in the five yen and the 50 yen coin.
