| ANo.1 | Hi! I used to work as a concierge in Hawaii and this question came up quite a bit. The red dirt in Hawaii is the result of high iron-oxide content in the soil (volcanic) and is in essence rust.. However makes for a great die on shirts, just watch you don't wear white shoes when you go for a hike! |
